Project Manager, Berkshire, to 50K + Car Allowance
Leading solutions provider seeks to recruit a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project life cycle, or parts of this, relating to successful implementation of their application software solutions.

Responsibilities include:
Project management of entire system implementation or parts thereof. This will involve maintaining documentation and liaising closely with customer representatives.
Analysis and reporting of customers business and system requirements into functional specifications and obtaining customer sign-off.
Drawing up project plans for bespoke development or standard implementations and obtaining customer sign-off.
In-house system configuration and testing to ensure that solution is working in accordance with agreed functional specification.
Working closely with the Customer Support Team to plan and control project implementations.
Producing reports for Customer Support Engineers to carry out customer installations and upgrades in accordance with Project Plans.
On-site systems implementation and testing in accordance with functional specification.
On-site training of users and system administrators.
Project closure, post-go live support and trouble shooting.
In-house pre-release system testing.
Technical Pre-sales support such as demonstrations and technical presentations.
Strong working knowledge of:
* Windows Server Technologies incl. Server 2003 & 2008
* Windows Client Technologies incl. XP & 7
* Web Server Technologies, in particular IIS 5.0, 6.0 & 7.0
* Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 incl. T-SQL & Reporting Services
* Microsoft .NET Technolgy
* Active Directory Arcture
* Networks, in particularly TCP/IP
* Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003 & 2007
* Conceptual understanding of SOAP and XML
* Kofax Ascent Capture 6.0 & above an advantage
* Document Management and workflow.
Experience Required:
* Degree or equivalent experience in IT or some applicable business or technical discipline.
* At least 2 years experience in a similar role installing medium to large sized Electronic Document Management (EDM) systems.
* At least 5 years experience in successfully managing technology projects through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support.
* Experience of on-site support and troubleshooting problems involving multiple systems and technologies on a range of platforms.
* Experience of analysing and documenting system and business requirements.
The Project Manager must hold a full current UK drivers license and appropriate passport/visas to allow travel to our customer sites throughout the world.
